Resolution No. 10 (Series of 2016)

GNPOWER LTD. CO. fully complies with Resolution No. 10, Series of 2016, established by the ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION of the Republic of the Philippines which moves to revise the rules for contestability.

Mandatory Migration to Contestability Status (2016)

1MW CC is mandated to enter into Retail Supply Contract (RSC) by December 26, 2016 .

General Procedures on Migration

CCs are allowed to enter into forward RSC with a licensed Prospective GenCo. Until the effectivity of the contract, DU shall continue to supply the electricity requirements of the CC.

750kW CC is mandated to enter into Retail Supply Contract (RSC) by June 26, 2017

RSC Terms

Minimum term of RSC shall be one (1) WESM billing cycle: Provided, that the term of an RSC shall no longer than two (2) years.
